"  Women  are great. They play numerous roles.....that of a daughter, daughter -in -law,wife, mother, sister and so on."
Every other day I read or hear these words of women playing so many roles in their lives . Of course we get a lot of appreciation for acting as superwomen. No wonder we have Special days celebrated in our honour....Women's Day,Daughter's week,Mother's day.........and mind you days are not far  when someone will invent Sister's Day,Wife's week,Daughter-in -Law month.(although last one is very unlikely to happen). All these ,I feel, act as pacifiers. You handle your responsibilities very well by working 16 hours a day and to help you keep on doing so for the next 20 ,30 years people have invented these mini rewards.
Now I throw this question to you .Do we really need these days to Remind us that we are special?I strongly believe ,No.Each one of us ,as individuals has the right to feel special and be happy whenever we want to.Its nobody else's business to select a day for us to be happy. We as women can and should do this ourselves anytime ,anywhere.Saying this I don't mean that we should shun our responsibilities in doing so.But definitely we should steal time for us whenever we can.Remember ..Being Woman is not a synoym for making sacrifices.Learn to love life and live life by striking a balance between yourself and your responsibilities.

Here are some tips for you to follow in order to make each day a women's day:
1.Read books, listen to music, dance, exercise or take up any activity you like to keep you rejuvinated.
2.Don't overburden yourself.Divide the work among the family members so you can be free for some time.
3.Pamper yourself with a parlour session or a spa once a month.
4.Plan a girls day out with your gang once a month.
5.Once in a while let your spouse or kids (if they are big enough)to cook for you or do other household chores.Make them realise that it is their home too and they are equally responsible.
6. Socialise.
